Yes — original IDV sessions cannot be modified retroactively, but you can screen historical users by creating new Monitor screenings for them directly via the API:

  1. Call /watchlist_screening/individual/create with the user's PII (at minimum their full name) and the watchlist_program_id of your Monitor program.

  2. Use the same client_user_id that was used for their original IDV session to maintain continuity.

  3. The screening result will be available immediately in the API response and visible in the Monitor dashboard.

These retroactive screenings will not appear inside the original IDV session record — they will be standalone Monitor screenings linked to the user via their client_user_id.
