Before connecting Monitor to an IDV template, you need:

  1. Monitor access enabled for your environment (Sandbox or Production). If Monitor is not showing in your product list, contact your Plaid Account Manager or Plaid Support to request access.
    2. \n
  2. At least one Monitor program created in the Monitor dashboard. A program defines your screening settings (watchlists, sensitivity, ongoing monitoring, etc.).
    3. \n
  3. An existing IDV Workflow Template, or permission to create one.
    4. \n

Connect the program to the template

Once the prerequisites are in place:

  1. In the Plaid Dashboard, navigate to Identity Verification > Templates.
    2. \n
  2. Open the template you want to configure, or create a new one.
    3. \n
  3. In the template editor, locate the AML Screening section.
    4. \n
  4. Select your Monitor program from the dropdown.
    5. \n
  5. Save the template.
    6. \n

Once linked, every new IDV session created with that template will automatically trigger a Monitor screening using the selected program's settings.
