When you call the endpoint for Plaid Identity - /identity/get - it returns information on the account owner - the name, email, phone number, and address. See our API docs for the detailed spec.

Each field will be returned in array format - for joint accounts, this would include information about all the owners of the account.

Note that names is the only identity field which is always returned. The other fields are optional, and are dependent on the data that the institution returns to Plaid. There is a very high fill rate for each field:
