Updates may happen daily or as frequently as every few hours, but this frequency varies by institution.</p>\n<p>As Plaid's requests for new transactions data are only periodic, there will be scenarios where transactions may appear on the user's bank statement but are not yet available via the endpoint. These transactions will become available after Plaid's next request for new transactions data.</p>\n<p>In order to be informed when new transactions data is available, we strongly recommend that you leverage our <a href=\"https://plaid.com/docs/api/products/transactions/#webhooks\">Transactions webhooks</a>.</p>\n<p>If you require real-time transaction updates, you can leverage our <a href=\"https://plaid.com/docs/api/products/transactions/#transactionsrefresh\"><code style=\"border:none;background:#f1f3f5;padding:1px 4px;border-radius:3px;font-size:0.9em;\">/transactions/refresh</code></a> endpoint. This endpoint will prompt Plaid to make a real-time request for new transactions data and return it to you immediately. Note that <code style=\"border:none;background:#f1f3f5;padding:1px 4px;border-radius:3px;font-size:0.9em;\">/transactions/refresh</code> is billed separately from Transactions and not provided by default. If you do not have access to this endpoint, you may request it by clicking \"Add Products\" from the <a href=\"https://dashboard.plaid.com/settings/team/products\">Products</a> page in the Dashboard.</p>","user_segment_ids":[]}}
